BIENVENUS SUR LE BLOG DU STUDIO VERMES
Vous trouverez dans ce blog un espace consacré aux cours de photographie: des images qui témoignent de la vivacité et du dynamisme pendant les cours, des photographies prises par nos étudiants pendant les dernières années et, bien sûr, la description des cours pour des futurs intéressés dont nous vous espérons nombreux.

I studied in Paris and was a student of Phillipe's in 2004/2005. I took photography on a whim and discovered a new passion!
RépondreSupprimerThe adventures that we went on in my beginner's class were incredible. Class would meet outside, in different neighborhoods each time and we would explore the streets and experiment with our cameras and different themes. I got to see the city in a way I might never have on my own. Phillipe showed us how to really see the city, and his vision of it was fascinating and inspiring!
I enjoyed my first class so much that I continued with the next level. In the intermediate course Phillipe created different opportunities for students to experiment with their photography. We had photo shoots with the other students, with models, in different neighborhoods, with different techniques. We were coached in dark room techniques and had time to develop our own craft and style.
Phillippe always instructed with care, patience and generosity. I feel so fortunate to have studied photography with him!

I took photography courses at Studio Vermes for two semesters while studying abroad in Paris in 2006 & 2007. Working with Phillipe and Nathalie was one of the highlights of my time in France! The studio is a truly unique space: quirky, fun, and inspiring. Phillipe is such a delight and really cares about his students' success. His passion for photography, art, and life is contagious. I highly recommend his classes to anyone interested in photography. I am so grateful that my program offered his course and I so wish I could go back and study at Studio Vermes again!

Taking photography at Studio Vermès was one of the highlights of my year abroad. I learned a lot, and class atmosphere was always really fun. I loved being able to explore the city through photography; our class took many little excursions with our cameras (the Foire du Trone amusement park, and the graduation ceremony for the film school Louis Lumière, among others), and we got to experience a unique side of Paris that we may not have otherwise found. I also learned invaluable skills in the studio, thanks to Philippe's expertise and our small class size (3 students). I also really valued our end-of-the-semester "Vernissage" where every student had the opportunity to display his or her work. Exploring Paris with a professional photographer, studio portrait practice, and an art show in Paris - what more could you ask for?
